Halloween Crochet Face Masks

August 21, 2020

It’s a spooktacular project! These Crochet Face Masks are jazzed up with Halloween designs and are perfect to use as a costume or just a festive way to celebrate the holiday and month of October. You can find the Crochet Mask pattern on Yarnspirations.com and it is designed with a fabric liner. BUT I have some other thoughts too…. You could wear these (like a costume) over a disposable mask or other face covering. You also don’t need to use these for yourself. How about on a pumpkin for a 2020 Halloween vibe? Or how about on a stuffed animal or doll (LIKE I DID HERE)?! Lots of ways to use these cute Halloween Masks!

As I mentioned, you can find the Free CROCHET FACE MASK PATTERN HERE on Yarnspirations.com! This pattern has been trending for months!

I used Red Heart Super Saver Yarn and a size G Crochet Hook. So grab your orange, white, purple, and green yarn and crochet the BASIC MASK PATTERN.

Then I went ahead and stitched on embellishments and faces using strands of yarn and my tapestry needle. The trick is to create the outline of the shape you want (like a triangle or the jack o lantern mouth) and then fill it in once you have the outline made.

For the skeleton, the eyes are just crochet in simple rounds:
Magic Ring, chain 1 and make 10 SC in ring, join, chain 1
Round 2: 2 SC in first, SC in next, repeat around, join, fasten off

For Frankensteins eyes:
Magic Ring, chain 1 and make 12 SC in ring, join, fasten off
stitch on black pupils.

For the cat ears:
Chain 5, SC in second chain from hook, HDC in next, DC in last two.

The rest of the embellishments I hand stitched on! So have fun with this and create even more characters! How about a witch?! Or a ghost?! Lot of ways to make a face mask more fun.

These are very cute. but I would be concerned that they would offer no protection from virus transfer. Perhaps that could be solved by using them as mask covers?

These absolutely need to be worn over another mask.

I suggest that you stitch on the indie a piece of cotton fabric with an opening so that you can insert a filter; perhaps a piece of coffee filter or a piece viva paper towel? It’s just a suggestion. ❤️

I love these designs. The pattern is for adult-sized masks. Have you adjusted it for children?

I was also interested to know this. She sized her hook down but not sure if this is to get correct tension or make a smaller mask?

I can’t download the child size pumpkin mask. What can I be doing wrong? When I download it is a adult mask.

You could always crochet a pocket on the inside for a filter!

The Halloween Crochet Face Mask could be the different things for this upcoming Halloween Day. This could be great if I get some of such masks for my kids in front of school Halloween program!I am a mother of two sons and I work as a advisor at https://gamblizard.com/free-spins/bonus-codes-free-spins/ and gather information for the people. But it would be good, if there free spin no deposit out there for the new comers.By the way, these masks are really interesting and different things.

This is the cutest Halloween mask I’ve seen! They are incredibly adorable and funny! It’s a pity we have to wear them. But your masks can somehow make happy children for a holiday. How happy I am with online card games (poker, Texas holdem, Baccarat). And by the way, for your safety, I recommend using Pay Pal deposit. Thank you for cheering up at this difficult time!

I really like their design. But what I’m worried about is people with atopic rhinitis like me. Nose is very itchy, can I use them?
