NEW YARN! I am so excited to show you this brand new yarn called Red Heart All in One Granny Square! Keep on stitchin’ with no color switchin’ because the yarn is made with the exact color changes needed to make a perfect granny square!
It’s absolutely genius. You can make 14 granny squares with just one ball! Each square will have 5 colors changes but only two ends to weave in. Perfect for on-the-go!
The pattern for the granny square is on the backside of the label of each yarn. I personally got the chance to test out this yarn and IT WORKS!
Here are some tips:
1. You will need to start with the middle color in the picture of the granny square on the label. The length of the colors is pre-set for each round so it has to go in the order of the granny square pictured. If you pull from the center and the color isn’t your starting color, you need to clip the yarn until it is the correct color. Use any extra yarn you snip off for stitching the squares together.
2. I ended up using a size H (5mm) crochet hook and kept my tension pretty tight. Feel free to use a hook that’s a size bigger or smaller to help with the gauge.
3. I turned after each round so I was starting in the chain space with a new color. The squares are reversible!
I made a quick video on how I crocheted these squares to help with any confusion:
There are a plethora of granny square projects you can use this yarn with.

Since I am feeling festive, I made quick and easy granny square tree ornaments! Each square can easily be folded into the shape of a tree. Add a trunk + a star button at the top and you have a cute Christmas accessory!
