I’ve got another “in a row” hat to add to the collection… this time featuring the cutest little trees! These adorable evergreens are spaced just right, creating a tiny forest that feels festive enough to wear all season long. Whether you’re in the mountains on a ski trip, strolling through holiday lights, sipping cocoa, or heading to a party, this hat is the perfect cozy accessory.
I’m using the brand-new Red Heart With Love LOW PILL yarn—available now on Yarnspirations!
And these colors couldn’t be a better match for this design: Jolly Berry, White, and Forest Green.
If you’re lookin’ for soft, strong, and made-to-last, Red Heart With Love LOW PILL is your new go-to. It has all the cozy charm and rich color you’ve always loved, now with a fancy low-pill twist—so your stitches stay smooth and your hat stays looking great even after the wash-and-wear of winter adventures.
Red Heart with Love Low Pill Yarn and Super Soft yarn details:
- Ball Size: 100 g / 3.5 oz, 157 m / 171 yds
- Weight: #4 Medium Worsted
- Content: 100% low-pill acrylic
- Care: Machine wash (max 104°F / 40°C), delicate cycle. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean.

Sizing: This hat pattern is available in four sizes!
Because each tree motif takes 4 rows and covers a 5-stitch width, the “tree stripe” ended up larger than my previous “in a row” hats. I adjusted the stitch counts so each size has an even multiple of 5 stitches. Ensuring every forest wraps perfectly around the hat.

Materials:
– Red Heart with Love Low Pill yarn: Colors Jolly Berry, White, and Forest Green. I also used a bit of the black yarn for the tree trunk. You could continue to use the forest green for the trunk if you’d prefer not to add in another color. This yarn does not come in brown. I was able to easily make the two hats shown in the photos with one skein of each. I probably have enough left for a 3rd hat!

Add a faux fur pom-pom to the top of each hat! I love these white ones with an elastic loop that makes it easy to attach to top of the hat by stitching them on with a long strand of yarn and your tapestry needle.

A crocheted hat is an excellent idea, especially with such a festive pattern. It immediately creates a New Year’s mood and emphasizes the neatness of the work. For those who enjoy reading thematic reviews after crafting, you may find the jwin 7 https://www.ithube.com/jwin7.html resource useful, which collects information about online casinos in a purely informative format, including descriptions of available bonuses and rewards without requiring participation, making it a convenient reference for those who are simply interested in the topic.

Please help. The stitch count between rows of the trees is not correct. Would you please provide the correct stitch count for each 5 tree rows. Love this hat and would really like to make it. Happy Holidays.
How many trees should I end up with?
My hat is looking like a bucket hat instead of like the picture.
Very cute but I did something wrong!
I’m having the same problem. This is a cute hat but not as good of a pattern as Sarah usually writes. How many trees should the preschooler hat have? She jumps from a baby size hat to a preschooler hat. Huge difference in sizing for my 14-month old granddaughter. I think I’m going to use some of Sarah’s other hat patterns and see if I can redo this pattern for the size I need. We need to know how many trees each size needs.
My desktop computer was broken, and I was forced to use my old, slow laptop for the night. I needed a website that wasn’t too demanding on my older machine. I went to Casino Darwin on the browser. The site is really well optimized and runs smoothly, which surprised me. They offer a generous deposit match bonus and various daily promotions. This provider is completely trustworthy for us living in Australia. They have a big variety of instant games. I was happy that my old laptop could handle it perfectly fine.
Great info! I’ve tried PPCine APK and it really delivers stable streaming without buffering.
It feels much smoother compared to many other apps.
Hi!
I love all your patterns but this one is throwing me for a loop! My trees are not lining up at all. I frogged it about 7 times already and I’m about to throw in the towel! I’m working the pre-school size and it’s just not working. I am following the sequences but like I said……it just doesn’t line up.
Please help!
Can online platforms really help beginners start earning money?
Please help.
.I just can’t get my trees to line up..What am I doing g wrong
This Christmas Tree in a Row crochet hat is absolutely adorable! Such a festive and creative design — perfect for holiday gifting!
Tell us how many trees you got in whatever size you made, please.
Do the chain stitches done after completing each round count as stitches?
I think I’m throwing away this pattern and hat. It doesn’t come out right. I’ve wasted four days on this pattern.
I wish Sarah would do the video a little slower. I can’t get the first row of the hat right. Also, how many trees are in the baby hat? I’d like to make this for my new granddaughter but this pattern is terrible to follow.
It is really cute, but I cannot make it work; I have tried several different times and the st count just doesn’t work out.
