When my oldest was just starting to eat finger foods, he received a really neat gift: The Cheerios Play Book. If you haven’t seen these before, each page has a theme and indentations where you fill in the missing Cheerios.
We had a lot of fun with these books when big brother was little, but over the years they got lost in our toy closet and forgot about until recently. I am glad I found them again because little brother is at the perfect age for finger food play. But it got me thinking, since I don’t always know where the books are, why don’t I make a Cheerios play placemat!
I quickly put together my own version in Photoshop, printed it out on card stock, stuck it between two pieces of clear contact paper and it was ready for our morning bowl of cereal!
