After her 20 week ultrasound, she delivered the sealed envelope from the doctor with the sonogram photo inside to my house. I dressed the stuffed bear in the appropriate color and wrapped it in a mystery box :) This is a cardboard box I got from Michaels, decorated with question mark cut-outs from my Cricut, and tied closed with pink and blue ribbon.
Shannon is also a crafty woman. She has a knack for discount shopping at places like Goodwill and Craigslist where she finds great deals on old furniture and home decor and refurbishes and up-cycles them. I told her she needs her own craft blog! So I am so excited to show you pictures from her fabulous party.
She went with a pink and blue owl theme, so I knew I had to give her my pink and blue granny squares which I made into bunting that hung over her food table.
I also made her a set of 24 owl cupcake toppers which ended up being perfect for all the yummy goodies she had. You can download my FREE owl cupcake toppers HERE.
Check out all the other goodies and creative ideas Shannon came up! She is one talented lady.
Pink and Blue Chocolate Covered Pretzels
Her"she"y and Hers"he"y Chocolate Bars
Blue and Pink Lemonade
Voting Chalkboard
The cupcake topper printables also worked well on top of empty spice jars that she filled with jelly beans. Everyone guessed how many beans were in each jar and whoever was the closest, won the jar!
I made her the voting cards and food tags as well, but unfortunately can't give those printables away since I am pretty sure the images used on them are copyrighted :|
