With a 3 year old who loves singing the ABC’s and a 5 year old who is learning to read, this alphabet trail mix truly appeals to both of them and helps them practice their letters! Of course you can add or subtract any foods that you see in my mix and customize it to your own liking. It’s a great combo of sweet and salty… although I think it may be more of treat than a “healthy” snack 🙂
Ingredients:
– Post Alpha-Bits Cereal
– Cheez-It Scrabble Junior
– SunMaid Raisins
– Whole Natural Almonds (unsalted)
– M&M’s
I will fully admit that I didn’t really take exact measurements of each ingredient. I used about 1.5 cups of cheez-its, 1 cup cereal, 1 cup raisins, 1/2 cup m&m’s, and 3/4 of the can of almonds…give or take some 🙂 Just mix everything in a bowl until it looks like a nice “even” mix of textures, flavors and letters!
