Fashionable Fringe! I love the look of this crochet shoulder bag! This is a Yarnspirations pattern featuring their new line of Bernat Maker Fashion Yarn. Very similar to Bernat Maker Home Dec Yarn but with a brighter color palette. This means there are many color possibilities for this purse! Yarnspirations features this pattern in a beautiful yellow and gray but I decided to spice my version up a bit with multi-colored fringe on top of a navy blue base.

And of course my little princess wanted a fringe purse as well so I made a smaller rainbow version by dividing the pattern counts in half.
I finished both of our purses in one evening. The main body is worked in simple rounds and the fringe is bit more time consuming but very easy to attached. And it’s a great opportunity to have fun in the bead aisle of the craft store! I chose plain white pony beads because my purses were so colorful but you can go with colored beads, glitter beads, wooden beads, and more. Can’t wait to see your versions!
