Hello! Would I be able to make this hat with any bulky(5) yarn?
Laura says
Thank you so much for this pattern 🙂 I’m new to reading patterns, could you please explain a little more about in the first row when it says “pull tight and join to the top of chain 2”. And is there 8 stitches in the magic ring? Thank you!

What an awesome hat! Sadly i am stuck now on the toddler size, round 10.
First it says to chain 1 after round 10, but this is round 10. Just a typo and you mean after row 9?
And how do i get to the chain 2 space? Do i turn the work? Do i skip the first puff? Do i slipstitch?
Because i end row 9 and join at the 2chain directly at the puff, with that 1 single chain i do get nowhere near to the next chain 2 space.
Please help me!
