Add the Dachshund Details
Head:
With Café Latte, join yarn in the top right corner
Chain 6, SC in 3rd chain from hook, HDC in next, DC + TC in next, TC + DC in last, slip stitch to next stitch on coaster.
Chain 1, turn, and slip stitch to next stitch on head.
Now let’s begin the ear:
Chain 5, DC in 3rd chain from hook, DC in next, HDC in last, slip stitch to join the ear down to head, fasten off and weave in ends. Use loose end to secure ear down if it is flapping up.
Front Legs:
Join yarn about 2 stitches below the head along the side of the coaster
Chain 5, HDC in 3rd chain from hook, SC in last two chains, slip stitch to same space.
Now slip stitch over and repeat of second leg.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Tail:
Join yarn in bottom left corner (one stitch above corner)
Chain 5, SC in 2nd chain from hook, SC in next, 2 HDC in next, 2 HDC in last, slip stitch to join to bottom corner.
Hind Legs:
Join yarn along bottom (or continue from tail)
Chain 5, HDC in 3rd chain from hook, SC in last 2 chains, slip stitch to same space
Now slip stitch over and repeat of second leg.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Face Details:
Use black yarn to stitch a small eye and nose.
