Fa-la-la! It’s our FINAL Under the Sea Crochet-Along Square! This adorable Seal is the last piece to 2024 monthly crochet along. Red Heart Super Saver in color Oatmeal is such a great shade of gray/beige to stitch this easy applique up. Next step will be joining the squares to make a blanket!
Don’t forget that there are also 3 bonus squares that have already been posted if you want to make your blanket even bigger OR switch out some of the designs.

Not sure what the 2024 Under the Sea Crochet-Along is all about? Every month in 2024 I crocheted an adorable ocean creatures that fit on a crochet square that looks like a water bubble. The 12 squares can then be stitched together to make a blanket. Including 3 bonus patterns!

Snout – Round 1 seems wrong. Do we start with a sc? The Round ends with join to sc but we don’t start with a sc. Or is it to join to the dc? There isn’t a stitch count at the end so I couldn’t back into it.
What a beautifully designed seal square! Your creativity and attention to detail never cease to amaze me. I’ve been following your CAL (Crochet Along) projects, and each square tells such a unique story—this under-the-sea theme is delightful!

Yarn and a crochet hook. A beginner’s pattern with stitch tutorial would also be really helpful. I would suggest starting with with a scarf as an afghan can be overwhelming. The 2024 Under the Sea Crochet-Along Geometry Dash sounds like a delightful project for crochet enthusiasts! The final square featuring a seal applique is a great addition to complete the 12-month series of adorable ocean-themed designs. Using Red Heart Super Saver yarn in “Oatmeal” adds a cozy and neutral tone to this whimsical piece.

So exciting to see the final square—this seal is the perfect way to wrap it all up! Can’t wait to start stitching them all together into a cozy Under the Sea blanket! Tubidy Mp3
This seal square is so cute! I can’t wait to see the finished blanket. I’m thinking about using different shades of blue for the border to really give it that underwater feel. It might be fun to see how quickly I can complete each square; almost like a Tap Rush to get them all done. Thanks for the pattern!
What a charming seal! Oatmeal is indeed a perfect color choice for this project, lending a lovely, natural feel. Are you planning a specific layout for joining the squares, or will it be more freeform? It’s exciting to think about the finished blanket. Perhaps some intense virtual driving afterward with Drift Hunters.

This seal is so cute! I’m really looking forward to joining all the squares together. It’s interesting to think about how different yarn weights might affect the final dimensions and potentially even influence something like a sprunki phase in the overall texture. Thanks for the pattern!
This seal is so cute! I love how you’ve broken down the pattern, it makes it seem very manageable. I’m already thinking about color variations and maybe even adding some extra details to personalize it. This project looks like a great weekend activity, almost like an Escape Road from everyday stress. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the lovely blanket. I am busy to crochet under the sea call for my Brother and wife 2nd grandsun end November.
I have made 16 blocks (4×4) now I want to ask if you please got one pattern extra than your 15 blocks. I have finished 10 blocks with applique so far.
Thank you so much for this pattern.

What a perfect way to finish the Under the Sea CAL! The seal pattern is fantastic and the Red Heart Super Saver color works beautifully. It’s hard to imagine anything topping this aquatic theme, but after 12 squares, maybe we need a total change of pace next year—perhaps a blanket featuring a *cowboy safari* adventure? Love the detail on the tail fins!
It was an interesting post, thanks for sharing. Assassin’s Creed Mirage Türkçe Yama
I can’t believe we’ve reached the final square already! The seal is such a cute way to wrap up the collection, and I’m looking forward to finally joining all these ocean creatures together into the full blanket.

I love how this cute seal brings the Under the Sea CAL to a wonderful close! Can’t wait to see how all the squares come together for the blanket. By the way, I’ve been reflecting on a random Bible verse every day—today’s was a lovely reminder of joy!
