I knew right away what I wanted to make: a fun and festive table runner! With Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner, my dinning room table needed sprucing up. I had the pleasure of looking through 18 unique patterns to try and decide what edging I was going to use. I decided on the Fall Shell Edging pattern found on page 4 of the pattern book.
I used about 18 inches of fabric I found at Jo-Ann Fabrics called mocca by the Alexander Henry Fabrics Collection, my Sharp Crochet Hook and size 10 crochet thread in red. The hook easily poked through the fabric without snagging. It was a breeze to make beautiful shell edging around the fabric!
Before I knew it, I had a simple, festive runner and centerpiece for my holiday dinners!

I haven't seen this product before. Is it more sharp than a regular hook that size? My gramma taught me how to crochet edgings around flannel receiving blankets using the punch through method. It would be nice to have a hook that was a little sharper. I can't wait to try it!
