P is for Penguin: Crochet Penguin Applique

P is for Penguin
This plump little penguin is one of my favorite appliqués of the bunch! It would be the perfect embellishment on any crochet winter projects or strung as bunting for some fun winter decor. Remember that I also have a penguin crochet hat pattern!

Materials:
– Worsted weight yarn. I used Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in white and black, and terracotta orange.
– Size G Crochet Hook (the bigger the hook the bigger the appliqué and vice versa)
– Tapestry needle

Abbreviations:
Sl St = Slip Stitch
SC =  Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
