T is for Turtle: Crochet Turtle Applique

T is for Turtle
This tiny turtle makes a great appliqué for hats and other crochet items! It would go great with a ocean themed project and could be made in different colors or even multiple stripes for the shell. Sorry again for the short tutorial! Things are a little crazy around our house…more details on that coming soon :)
Materials:
– Worsted weight yarn. I used Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in fern green and kelly green.
– Size G Crochet Hook (the bigger the hook the bigger the appliqué and vice versa)
– Tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
Sl St = Slip Stitch
SC =  Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
DC = Double Crochet

My son loved turtles when he was a little boy. Maybe I can use this pattern to make a little reminder for him.
Thanks for sharing this great pattern.

Dear greetings, Margaret
