Here is the 5th page in my Earth Day Crochet Quiet Book: 5 Petals!
The flower is cute but my favorite part of this page is the loop stitch grass!! Super simple and I will walk you through the easy tutorial in the video below! I also wanted to note that I decided to put the number on the right hand side of the page this time. It doesn’t really matter but I started thinking if I end up putting the pages back-to-back then it helps to have the page numbers alternating between being the upper right corner and the upper left corner.
I am making an Earth Day Crochet Counting Quiet Book! It will have a total of 10 pages and I will be posting each page separately in a series of 10 blog posts and then one final post to showcase the whole book and how to put it together. They will all be posted in time for Earth Day on April 22nd!
You can also use these “pages” as granny squares and create a blanket instead! Finished size of the pages/squares are approx 9×9.

I’m loving these patterns so much. I can’t wait to make a complete book for each of my soon-to-be-five great-grandchildren. Two of the little girls will be sporting your bunny ears this Easter. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with all of us.
I just love this idea. You are great. Thanks for thinking of kid’s thing’s. I know you have kids. You are just great.
Hi Sarah. I have a question. In the instructions for the “5 Petal Flower,” there is no Round 4. Could you please explain if that’s just a typo and should read Round 4 instead of Round 5 or is there an omission of Round 4?
Thanks for the update on the round 4 question above. I see the correction in the directions above. I look forward to working on this project when I have all the yarn I’ll need for the book.
I would be so pls if I can get the completely patern of each page. Of even I would buy it ,so I can make the book for my granddaughter from 2 and half. Thank you so much

I like this kind of thing. Thanks for posting video and deep tutorial. I usually use “do my homework for me” style services like https://ca.edubirdie.com/do-my-homework-for-me for example but I found your way of explanation very good. I would try to do this kind of homework and do this flower. Thanks for posting.
Just love this concept. You’re awesome. Thank you for considering kid-friendly items. I am aware you are a parent. Simply amazing, you.
