Crock Pot Cinnamon Stuffed Apples

No better way to welcome in the Fall season than with these Crock Pot Cinnamon Stuffed Apples! A sweet treat that is quick, easy, and comforting. Leaving your house with a lovely cinnamon spice aroma!

Ingredients:

6 Gala Apples
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans (use granola or oats for a nut free version)
3 tablespoon stick butter cut into 6 chunks
1/2 cup apple juice (one kids juice box works great!)

Directions:

  1. Scoop out top stem and core/seeds of apples.
  2. In separate bowl mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans together.
  3. Put one butter chunk and spice mixture into each apple.
  4. Place apples into crock pot and pour apple juice around base of apples.
  5. Cover and cook on high for approx. 3 hours.

Serve as is or top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

    Oh my goodness! Those look sinfully delicious :) I’m single and just bought my first crockpot. It’s a small 2 quart size, so I’m going to try making just two apples. Wish me luck!

    Making this the second time in a week. Everyone loves it! Tweaked it for low-carb by replacing brown sugar with truvia brown sugar.

    What size crockpot do you use? I could only fit three in mine as it is a small one.

    This looks delicious! I love everything Crock-Pot. I will try these apples but if I want my kids to even think about tasting it, I will have to add chocolate chips in there. *sigh* They will not have any desert that doesnt include chocolate :p
